20060530-Crispy Clear

The crispy clear skies today were breathtaking.
My peace has been found with each morning’s waking.

That is how each morning should start out, crispy and clear. Yesterday’s holiday would have been filled with fluffy white clouds but we got sticky trail clouds instead. I believe people were really enjoying that holiday literally and probably forgot that everyday is meant to be hard work.

Hard work doesn’t mean to lift a finger or to bend over backwards. Hard work means to lift both eyes to the skies and take deep breaths. This means to follow up with good and loving thoughts and clear the environment that way. It’s that easy. Today is better.

After the sunlight made its way through the slits of my closed blinds and onto my closed eyelids, I arose from bed. I’ve greeted the parakeets; hand fed the ailing TC and cleaned their area. By 09:22PM, I left the house after having prepared breakfast for us three and cleaning up afterwards.

Work was ordinary as I stayed until 07:00PM to finish today’s lockbox work. One temp called in sick probably from the recovery of his tattoos on both upper arms. And one came back from a long vacation and gave me a wallet as a souvenir.

The other unusual event today involved three changes: a new VP of finance; a VP of human resources (who is formerally VP of finance) and a new Director. This goes to show that the company is making money.

If I wanted a title with the added headache of more responsibilites, I’d like to be called ‘Director of Fun and Games’. That’s what I learned about the corporate world. It’s about playing hard with each other and laughing all they way.

If I wanted more proof, I’d like to see the figures on my paycheck increase tremendously and added bonuses gratuitously. But since I am but a hard worker, this illustration shows that no one could climb the ladder of successful illusion without stepping on others below.

Today, I learned that I’ve been stepped on for too long. And the wool of treachery has been lifted from my eyes. I could delve on the details further but that disclosure would not be wise. I am still accessing the situation at the moment.

My frustration is not without merit for anger has been brewing and now is justified. I felt humor from these personal phone calls received today and I am not at all pleased. My next course of action will be yet another test.

I could only summon my inner guidance for reassurance and that will have to do for now. Perhaps the blue skies has been my indicator of my well being and today is shown to be free and clear. That means I’ve left my troubles behind and will continue onward.

With more energy and better outlook in life, my personal committment to whatever and wherever continues in small steps. Those with a more ‘gung ho’ attitude and clearer visions are encouraged follow through with their own realities.

20060529-Trail Walk

Today has been filled with lots of good weather: blue skies; warm temperatures and our complimentary trail clouds overhead. I awoke at 09:30AM; entered a blog elsewhere and wasn’t ready to do anything else.

Maw made lots of angry conversation earlier this morning downstairs. I didn’t realize Paw almost caused another near accident coming from the post office. At least Maw was there to scream at him so both won’t get hurt.

Paw seems to become more feeble minded. And Maw has been and always has pulled the most weight in decision making around the house. Now my assistance to pull almost all three weights around is beginning.

As designated driver to these two and whenever possible, my task today is to drive so we could walk along the shore line. At the last minute, we decided to buy our three sandwiches of egg salad and two smoked turkey to eat as lunch later on.

At 10:30AM and prior to getting onto northbound Highway 101, a large trail cloud was already being laid closer inland, from north to south and over the Westside hills of the Bay Area. The wind did not blow the whole morning. This major trail and many smaller ones stuck in the skies.

About 11:00AM, I missed the exit and made my way back to the familiar one. I missed Brats cell phone call at 11:10AM. We parked closest to the restaurant as usual and got out to enjoy the day.

Immediately, I took my camera out and started taking pictures of the whole mess in the skies. For whatever reason, certain spots were being marked with cross patterns. We were directly underneath some trails.

By 11:30AM, I’ve taken a few pictures of geese with their clutches. These babies still had their gray colored down. Families of geese were eating the grasses of this park. Some were drinking water near an orange colored, construction cone.

While leaving Maw to rest wherever she chose, Paw and I continued to walk around the paved place and I was beginning to feel the heat from my gray colored pullover with the ‘W#b#x Finance Team’ logo embroidered on the left front.

I took more pictures of these cross patterned clouds in the skies; the patrol light plane above; the lake with people sailing and paddling; and some wild flowers. I did not get a chance to take pictures of squirrels and took a dark snapshot of a bird sitting underneath the shade of this one tree.

There were cyclist ‘watching’ and wearing either yellow jerseys and dark shorts and shirts. There were old and young people walking and running. One guy was wearing no shirt as he casually strolled around where adults and children were sitting down to have their meals.

We wanted to look for Maw and made our way back toward the main area where people were playing Frisbee; having birthday parties and bicycling or rollerblading. From our counterclockwise walk of almost thirty minutes, we emerged from in front the bathroom area.

I noticed two people we intercepted earlier under the back part of the shaded trail of tress: one dark haired guy and possibly his dark haired son. I felt both his son’s stare earlier and the dad’s stare through my dark shades and beige colored cap later. I was walking to the left of Paw in both instances.

As we neared their position, the dad immediately got up from his corner position of a patch of grass, which is near the main launch pad of paddleboats and sailboats. He then stood directly behind his bicycle. I laughed to my frustrated self and mentally thanked the guy for this sweet humor.

Later, we found Maw sitting on one of the benches overlooking the lake. Unfortunately, there was no shade of trees and her red and pink umbrella of flowers did not offer the cooling effects I needed from underneath my pull over.

I did not want to step on the food and green colored poop of these geese. But that was the only way we could pick up Maw and rest a few minutes before I complained of being hungry and feeling overheated from sitting at this bench. I have yet to wash my white rubber shoes.

So we sat in the Mazda and ate our sandwiches until we decided that it was time to go home. I asked Paw for a ‘booger rag’ and began to pick my nose and found that my left nostril had the most. I did not care if golfers to my right or drivers to my left saw me picking my boogers.

We drove home but got on south 85 in error. I made my way back to east 237 to exit onto southbound 101. I kept looking at the sky and realized that some work needed to be done. I didn’t initially request for anything to happen.

I kept taking pictures above and found more trail clouds with two more noticeable ones above me were being laid. I could only mumble to myself and shouted at the noisy cars passing by while cleaning my Mustang. I’m a frustrated girl, I suppose.

I screamed ‘I’m a slave!’ while cleaning the Benz and prior to their arrival from an errand of picking up medication and looking for white slippers. This is the price of living rent free with free home cooking by Maw.

With the help of Maw wiping down the cars and of Paw vacuuming the interiors, we managed to clean all three cars from 01:00PM to 03:00PM. Maw and I took our showers as Paw finished up his activities. Laundry is being done as I blog.

My energy level was surprisingly strong today and I did not feel drained. Recently I’ve experienced little pain of doing normal activities like: stooping forward, bending knees, lifting arms and wiping well. My walking activities have increased as a result.

Today, however, should not have encouraged those damn trail mixers to increase their efforts. I am dismayed that some continue to play this game of making trail clouds to pollute our beautiful blue skies. We all should instead be walking together in peace and harmony.

20060528-Wispy Waves

I awoke at 05:45AM, got online and discovered there is little left to view except the usual dose of sensational headlines of fear, death and anger. I find more lack of interest from sitting in front of an inanimate object which is nothing more than a different box meant to keep us sedentary individuals indoors.

I opted to do something better and that is crawl back into bed. I didn’t feel like I had to sleep again but off to dreamland I went. There may have been dreams for the past month but I have not recalled or bothered to log these as part of my blogs.

The day was greeted with another blue sky as we drove ourselves to get Maw’s blood work done. Instead of waiting inside a room full of other people, I decided to do something more mundane. And that is to walk for once to burn off my fat deposits in areas that I care not to mention.

So off I went under the shades off tree, along the cemented sidewalks and among nature in her finest. The clear blue sky was amazingly refreshing as I warmed up myself with simple arm circles and other creative stretches to get the flow of blood going into my brain.

My tracks were momentarily stopped as I watched two brown squirrels played. They climbed up and down the trees and flicked their tails and then scampered off to get food elsewhere. I missed a photo opportunity because I only carried my keys.

From 09:15AM to 09:40AM, I walked up and down the area nearest the front entrance of the hospital. The day was so fine that my new, high necked, gray pull over from the company kept me warm enough from the cold days. But not too warm that I overheat.

Cold days seem to be more common in the past seasons. We seem to be having one long winter after the other. The only other time the weather would reach close to one-hundred degrees Fahrenheit is around the month of July.

I rested a few more minutes on the outdoor and saw a black squirrel looking for food among the landscapes of flower beds in front of me in the distance. I didn’t have my camera with me then but later on sat down again to try to intercept one of those critters but to no avail.

I messaged Brat to pick up his property today while waiting another thirty minutes for my bio-units. We were off to go home towards southbound 101. In the distance I saw one trail cloud being laid at around 10:30AM.

After a few minutes into the drive, the now widened, white-washed clouds were directly below this one sylph. Nothing else was seen in the sky except this one cloud above and one trail below. This is as if the timing could not have been better by both.

We decided to have brunch at the popular Filipino restaurant. Maw got angry as I told her the window shade is upside down due to the white tag was supposed to be one top. I flicked her off again as I saw her walked fast to the restaurant.

We each have similar dishes of rice, sunny side eggs and meat. All three of us packed two pieces of meat for take home because this was too much to eat in one sitting. I ate the pickled vegetables that came with the meal to aid in digestion.

The stuff burned my left throat and I had unwittingly coughed my mouthful of food across the table and towards Paw. He is a patient man and I kept apologizing for ruining his breakfast. I laughed as myself for being naughty the whole morning too.

Later, we found ourselves home and deciding what else to do. I wanted to go get my smog test and slowly backed up from the driveway. Surprisingly, we saw Brat and Twit in the black Mustang making a surprise visit.

So I pulled my gray Mustang back up the driveway and along side the couple and greeted them both with my smile of yellow teeth. I’ve not had a chance to whiten my teeth because I consider that ideal too vain to me and for now.

We talked and gave Twit more of our dishes that we do not use. My goal is to get rid of as much items from this house. Because where we are all going, we cannot take. Once again, I prefer to be the minimalist in the bio-units.

Brat finally removed three of the crates that I painstakingly loaded up with his hobbies of paints, brushes and others. He still needs to remove his magazines, CD’s, punching bag, bamboo blinds, five more models made by hand and one upright carpet steamer.

Then the issue of marriage came up by Maw. That put Brat and Twit on the spot because Maw’s opinion is that they should get married since both already have a house together. I believe that Brat, Maw and Twit have different ideas.

I can’t help this new couple have a descent marriage ceremony and reception because of many freeloaders riding on my hard working back. My immediate goals are already expressed and there are some who know better.

As these chatter boxes flapped their mouths, I watered the backyard vegetable plants; refilled the birdbath; hosed down my CB and reprogrammed the device with better intentions; took pictures of the parakeet and got close up pictures of Bugsy’s heart-shaped markings; hung my laundry to dry; and loaded Brat’s property into the trunk of the Mazda.

After we unloaded Brat’s junk into his garage, Brat sneezed loudly near Maw, who was startled and she struck him with her right hand. These old souls (or masters) do not always understand their sense of humor is not always amusing and does annoy the rest of us.

With karma being the law of return, she had bled underneath the unbroken skin. Her wound from today’s blood work with the butterfly needle did not thoroughly heal and she had this painless bruise that was taped with the help of Twit.

As we prepared to go with the chatter box making noise, there was a major sylph formation overhead. I got my camera out and took pictures from Brats driveway around 12:35PM. The formation was located northwest.

We found ourselves back home and to my surprise they were directly overhead. This is where I took more pictures of the sylphs around 12:40PM. The southern most section of this formation marked the border of our house.

The northern most section is probably a good couple of miles long. This is the biggest and most beautiful one I’ve seen so far in the Bay Area. I’ve uploaded some pictures into this Yahoo! 360 profile today. They moved or waved due east in a very slow and majestic manner.

Later, we went to get my California ‘Test Only’ for certification of smog. This means I wasted my time trying to get one done today at a local place that didn’t offer this service. Test Only stations provide more accurate readings and are NOT allowed to perform repairs.

All three of us went to for a walk inside our local mall once together. Maw found herself enjoying a three minute massage from those black chairs for US1.00 notes. Maw rested near the water fountain; while Paw and I went around for another fifteen minutes.

Today, I’ve gotten one and one half hour of walking done and without the leisurely limp from a painful right knee joint. I believe my rubber sneakers provided the support compared to the cheap leather flat shoes I wore while walking with Brat that one day.

I ate two Vietnamese spring rolls leftover from Brat’s surprise birthday parties and found myself sleeping off today’s walking exhaustion from 03:30PM to 07:30PM. Furthermore, I believe I spent my precious energies yesterday night to turn some ugly red clouds to some nice white clouds as seen today.

My personal belief in love, light and laughter has brought forth the sylphs, who have heard my thoughts regarding trails were being laid earlier this morning. Fluffy white clouds continue to linger behind both the Westside hills towards the Pacific Ocean and Mt. Hamilton, CA.
