20070531-Font Span

Yes! Thanks you for the almighty power that is WordPress.com, a free service the bloggers. I have made two major discoveries as to why I could not view my hard work with myopic eye condition. The font size was the key.

First, the font size number two was found from one of my poems entitled: ‘20060402-Perfect Puppy’ while reviewing my category of ‘Poems About Me.’ As a test, this worked nicely as I edited rest of my mostly black colored fonts under this category.

I began to see how html codes works as I tried to edit my poems with colors other than black. This is where I made a second discovery – colors should be ’span styles’ and not ‘font styles,’ which were followed by a bunch of lower case letters ‘f.

I began to hate html codes more so than ever before because there is more that a blog site could do to offer the users more ease and flexiblitiy. Sure this is a free online service but some control is lost when the blogger is not proficient as programmers.

The compromise was the font style, at least for me. I have favored the font style of ‘Georgia’ for most of my blogs from the Yahoo! 360 accounts but WordPress.com allows only its default for security reasons.

Fine! I’ll live with what is currently available and keep blogging without worrying how imperfect and ugly my blog site could be from not being able to use certain layouts without having to re-edit each one whenever my beautiful mind could locate any flaws lurking anywhere in my blog entries.

20070531-Daily Diary

Thu, 31 May 2007 at 09:30:16 am (prose) (, , , )

Today is gray and cloudy. The weather itself reflects my health condition. I’ve been feeling stuffy in the ears, nose and throat since around 04:00PM last Sunday, 05-27-2007 after walking outdoors under the sycamore trees with Cunning, a close friend of Twit and a Realtor with an office in Fremont, CA.

I started coughing as if chocking on something while both of us were in the living room and about to leave my home. This was after Paw called from the party over at the home of Brat.

I’ve been coughing, obviously, to annoying co-workers a few minutes ago and all of yesterday. The venti, green tea latte of $3.25 from this morning is helping to sooth my coughing spells. A Benadryl from last evening dried up whatever allergen may be contributed to my ‘flu-like’ symptoms.

The boogers are clear and I believe is really allergy related to dust, molds, weeds and grass that I inhaled from the air last Sunday. I should really get out more often and boost my immunity. There is really nothing wrong with the outdoors. I happen to prefer indoors.

As a result, I cannot step away from blogging upstairs and at work. But this would be considered my break time; since we are not allowed to update our system until further notice.

I could call in sick because I do have lots of paid time off hours but am not contagious. I wonder if the co-workers who cough around here are contagious. I do not know or care.

Atttention,

With great pleasure I am writing this proposal on behalf of my partners. A
member of our government trade delegation to your country gave your profile
to me. Hence I have decided to seek your cooperation and assistance in a
business of mutual benefit by sending this letter.
There is a program currently on, in the department where I work as projects
director. Inviting holders with proof of government indebtedness that stands
at an envisaged accruing interest of GPB545.2 million on projects and
supplies, to submit same to enable their claims go through payment process.
Some of these debts have been redeemed in their principal component leaving
behind accrued interest portion unpaid.Within the Ministry of public works
where I work, we have been able to record an accrued interest bills of
Eleven million Great british pounds (GPB11M) on supplies which we have in
principle, an approval to remit overseas. This we can do by appropriate
forms of documentation with application for claim to reflect the approval
and payment. Our constraint is to be able to source a trustworthy individual,
to whom we can remit this fund and act as trustee, since our period of
disengagement from the civil service is near.
We are presently affected by the Uk civil service code of conduct, which
prohibits civil servants from operating foreign accounts. Moreover, I have
the authority with my partners to propose whether you be willing to assist
us in this transaction, you will be highly compensated on percentage bases.
