20080417-Laura’s Soaps

At 12:22PM, I’ve opened my package and read the enclosed letter dated March 10, 2008 from Laura. Earlier and while blogging my most previous post, I heard the doorbell ring and thought it was ‘Razor’ coming over for lunch. But when I opened this mysterious package I found some fragrant goodies. I dug carefully around the white colored popcorn packaging from the brown cardboard box as delivered from UPS.

What I found was a little plastic bag with its silver twisty tie and a label for ‘Not for Bath Tub Use’ on the outside. In it, I found a gold colored netting called ‘Gardenia - Scented Sachet’. I’m taking a nice whiff of this as I blog and thinking I’d better keep this one close to me or place it somewhere in my closet or inside one of my many drawers. I was giggling to myself and wondered if I indeed am a stinky and smelly one that needs something soothing and sweeter. I’ve transmitted my mental thanks with the added olfactory effects from this gift.

I love it! And to make my surprise nicer, there are four other soap bars included. They are wrapped in plastic bubble wrap, which I will pop later to make me ‘feel much better, trust me’. In alphabetical order, they are: ‘Creamy Coconut Oil Soap — Ocean Water’, ‘Goat’s Milk Soap — Temptation’, ‘Olive Oil Soap — Strawberries & Champagne’ and ‘Shea Butter Soap — Butt Naked’. The last soap is quite description and I got a chuckle out of the one — butt naked, indeed!

Anyway, there are little located to the left of each label. The ‘Ocean Water’ shows a red eight-wheeled spoke in the foreground with a lighthouse to the left and an ocean to the right. The ‘Temptation’ shows a pair of stiletto red pumps, which looks good on a pair of nice shapely legs, none of which I have but strong, hairy ones. The ‘Strawberries & Champagne’ shows two champagne glasses filled with yellow colored liquid and three strawberries at the base of each glass — one on the left and two on the right. The ‘Butt Naked’ shows a girl in a short pony tail of black hair sitting at a nine o’clock direction in a white tub full of bubbles.

So to get your personal supplies of handcrafted luxury bath and body products, please visit http://soapsbylaura.com/. This website has my favorite colors of pink and purple. It has a darker purple color background with some nice pink and purple graphic designs on the top. The bottom of the website contains links to the various items. I like the layout and will have to learn how to incorporate my passion for photos, web designs and business into a weblog. But for now, it’s blogging for me and a nice bath with my new soap products. Bye!
