19980924-Ummm Spot

 My e-mail today is simple: SPOT — She Preceived Only Trouble . The disorientation, loss of balance, weakness of the knees, sense of sleepiness, inability to recover quickly enough is nothing to joke about. In fact, I was not on any medication or had any alcoholic beverages to consume before going into that darkly lit cabin. The bumpy ride en route to the place via your yellow Splash [truck] was no laughing matter either. Although I give you credit for driving so well, even while intoxicated after the festival.

Whatever overcame me was an experience of the unknown and mysterious, like Santa Cruz Mystery Spot. Somehow even before entering the second room and within an arm’s length from the doorway to the second room, I could feel some sifting occurring or something swimming within/in front of my line of vision and/or within my mind. (I am assuming for the moment that the ever-so-upbeat guide had implanted some suggestion(s) into my subconscious thus making my mind expect some sort of dizziness that I had experienced later.)

While in that disoriented state, I had begun to lose my balance and to feel my knees give way under my weight. But I resisted the sensation to fall onto my knees and remembered reaching with my right hand for that wooden handle along side of the cabin as I was being drawn toward the opposite side of the cabin below. And for some reason I couldn’t reach that “safety net”, which seemed so far away from my grasp. Also within that same moment of moving into the second room, I also sensed a low buzzing sound that was opposite to what I could sometimes hear from the high pitched sound of tinnitus.

Flynn wanted to extend her many thanks to her Prince [Booze] for his valiant efforts to the rescue the maiden friend from making a fool of herself in front of the other tourist.  There are times when [she] wonder[s] if [he] will ever be around to say hello anymore and assume that [they] will go [their] separate ways like two ships passing by only to stop for a moment and then sail away to other destination points. But [she] suppose[s] [he] [is] a busy person as [she] [is] too.

Author’s note: This blog is an excerpt from one of my e-mail dated Thursday, September 24, 1998 9:08 PM. It was originally sent to someone who looked exactly like Tom Cruise, both of whose birthday fell on July 3! The young lad freaked out and was never seen again, to disappear as he had described to me in another communication.

Immediately prior to the doorway leading to the second room where the hanging ball marked the center of the mystery ’spot, I noticed a girl leaning up against the far left side of the wall while the long-haired, tourist guide mentioned getting dizzy from the second room ahead. I was already on all fours — both knees and hands as the young lad rescued me from off the floor.

As both of us made our way into the second room, the guide mentioned that someone was holding up the line and making a fool of herself, in reference to me of course. I remembered barely listening to the rest of the speech by the guide, who mentioned something about a government and its survey that couldn’t scientifically explain this paranormal phenomenon.

I have entered this experience in another discussion forum as my first ‘heiau’ experience at this sacred spot. But the noone seemed to care then, which is another reason why I stopped posting there and found another forum with a wider selection of topics from which to choose. Again, it appears that posters at this discussion forum are also avoiding any interaction with my posts. Hmmm.

20080130-Similar Faces

Have you ever wondered if there is someone out there that looks almost exactly like you (also known as doppelgangers - your long lost twin, a mirror image of yourself)? Well, I was browsing the internet as usual and came across a forum topic about the loss of $7B of France’s second largest bank by a rogue trader named Jerome Kerviel. I clicked on the link and that directed me to a video hosted by CNN. And somewhere in the middle of the almost two minutes length of the video, I see the face of a man who appears similar to a young lad I’ve dated in the past.

AND, the weird part was that prior to settling down for what would be another restful night, I had decided to pull out two of my old computer towers to see if I could retrieve more archives for much review and some kicks. So in I go after hooking up the wires in the back of the first tower. And good thing the data for the e-mail was intact! I managed to open up each e-mail item (one by one) for a total of 150 and saved those as text files (.txt).

Then I saved those text files in a new folder, which I later transferred to my portable disk. The only way to print out the e-mails was to hook the disk back to my primary computer. This is such a hassle and I will need to learn how to hook up both the former and current towers. The second tower was a dud and I put both old ones back into the closet. I was trying to determine two important dates and found that both were dated back in September 1998, the last time I would see the brat.

There are other men whose faces are strikingly similar to the guys I’ve dated in the past. I often wonder what had happened to those dudes but never bothered finding out as this is how some friendships end for me - quietly and without so much as a fight to remember. Perhaps there is some sort of cloning technology or mass breeding by the same parent that has been going on without us knowing at all.

Below (and in no particular order) are some public figures as comparisons to the ones whose faces I could match closely. Unfortunately, some of my fondest memories have been forgotten and cannot be included in this list.

There after I and my colleagues will visit your country for disbursement according to the percentages indicated.
