While lurking online, I came across a recent news article:

SHANGHAI (AFP) – NBA star and Shanghai Sharks owner Yao Ming urged China on Friday to say no to shark fin soup to stop the overfishing of some species amid growing demand for the delicacy.

The Houston Rockets centre who recently bought his hometown’s professional team, unveiled a television commercial aimed at wealthy Chinese which urges them to stop ordering shark fin soup.

“We have species that need our attention and protection,” Yao told reporters at a press conference launching the campaign.

“They are endangered by excessive hunting by humans and deprived of habitats due to human greed.”

I applaud Yao Ming! He who wears the number eleven speaks truth.

China must listen to Yao Ming. For the guardians of the sea are supposed to be the sharks, which keep the damn humans from traveling too far into deeper oceans. Yet people eat that which is NOT kosher!

Regulators shutter 2 big Calif. banks, 5 others

WASHINGTON – Regulators on Friday shut down two big California banks, as well as banks in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan and Illinois, bringing to 140 the number of U.S. banks brought down this year by the weak economy and mounting loan defaults.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. took over all seven.

Well, it’s not so much shutting down unprofitable banks here in the United States. There are still the banksters doing business overseas. And those INTERNATIONAL entities need to be regulated for asking too much and for too long! My references to banksters in my previous blog entries have NOT been within the U.S. territories. Damn, you people are SO SLOW!

Divorce happens and it’s okay. As long as there is a prenuptial agreement for high-profile or wealthy clients, then there should be no need to get emotionally or physically violent. Don’t let money turn your souls into demonic entities.

In recent news, Tiger Woods has admitted to being unfaithful to his marriage vows. He is forgiven for being a wealthy black man, a dog who is true to himself and his preference for being in the company of beautiful women.

The photos showing Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Uchitel, `a former Swedish model who once worked as a nanny for the Parnevik family,` show unhappiness. Their body language are posed far apart. There is no sense of togetherness. The face of Tiger Woods most especially shows dissatisfaction.

If I were the couple, I would split up and move on with their lives. There is no need to feel embarrassed about the reality in broken marriages or humiliated to the public and their fans. There is only one thing that’s important: happiness and peace.

The children are better off not witnessing their parents fight. It is much healthier for the family to go where they could find healthier lifestyles and at least try to remain friends, knowing the couple once loved each other and made beautiful children together.

I feel sad, though. I don’t like goodbyes or separation. Waaahhh!
