20090705-Goose Flesh

At around 1600PM, Maw was praying the `Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary`. She was on the third of nine days. While I was blogging (as usual), she suddenly called to me (as usual).

But this time she claimed to have seen an image of the Virgin Mary on the left portion of the curtain to her bedroom and proceeded to point out the faint outlines of two eyes and an ovoid head.

She instructed me to sit on the rocking chair to get a better view. But I saw a fish from the two darker areas above where her eyes are supposed to be. I didn’t take a snapshot, left her room and went back to blogging.

About an hour or so ago, she described her goose flesh experience earlier this afternoon. From a booklet (`Prayers for Urgent Occasions` by Rev. Bernard Marie, O.F.S. © 1990 by Catholic Book Publishing Co., N.Y.), she pointed out the passage where she felt goose flesh first originating about her right hand going up toward her whole right arm:

[...] On your right, I see Gabriel the Archangel, the Divine Ambassador who greeted you with the absolutely unique title of `Full of grace`. (p. 90)

As she read next sentence, she felt the same sensation starting on her left hand going up toward her whole left arm:

On the left, I see Michael the Archangel whose presence reminds us that your right hand you hold the hands of the King of kings. (p. 90)

Earlier today, I’ve read a blog entry (Sunday, July 05, 2009, 5:26:07 PM) entitled `Why a labyrinth?`. I can’t help but notice what Maw and three people experienced that day:

We walked it and when we got to the middle Stevo said his hands were tingling. I noticed that my hands were tingling and pulsing with energy, and Don felt it in his hands too.

Notice that the times (praying and publish date) seem to occur around late afternoon.
